Bugs In Radiator
I do a lot of traveling in my 2001 Screw and there are a lot of bugs accumulating on the Radiator. How can I clean/spray the bugs out? I cannot get to the radiator from the top because it has a plastic shield. I have tried removing but I couldn't, the black plastic screws didn't unscrew. There is also no way to do from the bottom of the truck, the skidplate is in the way and another black plastic thing is in the way. Please Help, I dont want the bugs to restrict airflow to the radiator. Thanks!
That black plastic cover is held in place with the WORST excuse for fasteners I've seen in a long time. You can either put a knife blade under the screws as you remove them (lifting on the blade to give leverage)
You see they have what appears to be threads, but they aren't. Then use the knife blade to remove the larger round expanders, that the screws mount into. Then you have a clear shot at the radiator, condensor, trans and oil coolers.

The top radiator shield can be removed easily by using a claw hammer and prying those eight plastic screws out. They look like regular phillips head screws but will not unscrew. Use the claw of the hammer and carefully lift up on the piece of plastic under the screw (it is a plastic washer with a sleeve)
You can mount some type of screen in front of the A/C (radiator) to catch the bugs. I usually just hose the bugs off.
