Lightbulb If Mercedes Made a Screw

If Mercedes made a screw out of say the M class sport utility, would you be interested?
Seems to me Ford screws are already in the
correct price range, and Mercedes already makes heavy trucks, so why not a screw?
What do you think?

If Mercedes made a Screw, it would probably be as butt-ugly as their SUV. Even if they avoided such a repeat aesthetic disaster, I still wouldn't buy it. For when we are in the realm of the full-size truck/suv, we are in the market segment where American products still set the pace. There's no substitute. Of course, some people feel a psychological compulsion to avoid American cars. But aside from that pathology, I wouldn't see the purpose in looking for a Euro Screw.

Red face

I have seen a few new "M" class Mercedes lately and they are including, or putting on, chrome nerf bars on them. They look silly and I mean really silly.

Thumbs up

Have to agree with the others. Even though the Merc. SUV looks similar to the Lexus and BMW, it is still butt ugly in comparison. How to they do that?
Now if we are talking a Ford SCrew exterior and a nice little Merc. diesel motor, perhaps Merc. influence in the interior ... and a Merc. radiator
