Post Borla Split Rears

Just had the Borla installed on my Crew and I am overall pleased w/ the looks and the mellow tone the new exhaust produces. Not too loud, but noticeable when accelerating.

hyacinth...your screw looks great...how much did it cost for your BORLA exhaust...and how much for the lift...it looks awesome...good job..
I ilive in half moon bay...and could go to same shops if your satisfied with their work...I was wondering about split rear but wanted the outlets to go behind tires at an angle so that exhaust wouldnt find its way into camper...on the lift is there any cutting or is it all bolt-on...thanks you
are looking good keep up the good work..

The exhaust cost me about $390 from truckperformance.com which is not bad considering it's all stainless steel. I then took it to a muffler shop here in san jose to have it welded on.

The lift, incl the kit, install, alignment, new Ford alignment bolts, taxes, etc ran me about $2400 from Advanced Truck Accessories in Fremont. I highly recommend them as they seem to do high quality work and have great customer service. Let me know if you want a breakdown of the costs as I can provide that for you. Here's a front view of the truck...

Man, that Borla system is AWESOME!!!!

I'm concern with the exhaust having a straight shot at the travel trailer also.

DECHman,

I like your 'Stang as it reminds me so much of the '89 Saleen I had.

I actually preferred the side exit type of an exhaust but this is what Borla makes for the SCrew and since I don't tow a whole lot, I decided to go with it anyway.

I ordered it back in December when truckperformance supposedly had a sale on Borlas. You may be able to convince them to get it for $390 if you really want it.

Question

really looks good hyacinth--will the same kit fit my 2001 supercab--everytime i try to find a Borla kit to fit it, the internet sites only recomend a side exit kit never a split rear. what part number is the kit you have?
How is the sound--not to loud i hope--want some but don't want to listen to it on long trips.
