Question To Scotchguard or not?

Any pros and cons for Scotchguarding the carpet and seats when my SCrew comes in? I have heard some people even spray the headliner.

I've heard it's not a good idea. Not sure where I got that but there it is.

Cool

Tman;
I scotchguarded my SCrew after I bought it last April. It's paid big dividends... between three dogs and two college age sons. 3M Scotchguard is worth its weight in gold. Just my $.02

Exclamation

Did you know that (3M) is supposedly discontinuing the production of Scotchgard this year? Supposedly this stuff does not break down over time and is accumulating in our bodies.

Stock up now.
BTW, I did all of my carpets when I got my truck and clean up is easy. Esp. spilled beer.

Repels spilled coffee wonderfully.
Doesn't repel the grease that the dealer tracks in. Why do they keep removing my floormats? Are they afraid to get grease on the mats?
