Post All ready scheduled to be built

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the replys regarding the quality issues. After thinking about it a little bit I am going to buy it. It is the only vehicle that will do everything that I need.

So I called my sales guy to make sure he ordered my SCrew and to get the order number so I can check on the status through VOPC.

I put my order in with the dealer on 3/12 and they put the order in to Ford on 3/13. I just got off the phone with VOPC and it is scheduled to be built on 3/26. I couldn't believe it, this sounds pretty quick after reading all the other posts about how long it took to get their SCrews. Who knows, maybe this is normal and the demand is a little less right now.

It is a fully loaded (even the entertainment system) Lariat 4x4. I ended up going through Autobytel, so I delt with fleet sales at the dealership. I don't know if this makes any difference or not.

How long does it usually take for it to show up after it is scheduled to be built?

Thanks,
Sean

sparker,

Normally, the longest part is the transit to your dealership. Or waiting for it to be built. Here was my schedule:

Ordered 1/26
Built 2/26
Released 3/1
Delivered 3/7
Picked up 3/9
Ford's ETA 3/15

You will love your SCrew. I know I am still thrilled with mine. I'm always looking for an excuse to go out driving.

Just make sure you go over yours before signing any paperwork. After they had mine cleaned up, I found minor transit damage. Two very small scratches on my passenger rear door. My dealer immediately offered to either repaint the door or have a specialist touch it up since it wasn't bad. He recommended the touch up instead of repainting it due to possible color mismatch.
