Cool

Tomcat:
Interesting handle ... assumed you would be living in Va Beach (Oceana)... rather than AZ ??? I've got a "few" hours in the F-14. Have had my SCrew since last April. I'm in the same boat as you ... waiting for the company to come through ... eventually. Even with that distraction, I really love the vehicle ... especially with some of my mods (see below). BOL,

Unhappy

I even told the dealer when ordering that the tow package was only to get the super cooling package. Any towing I might do would of been easy enough with the step bumper hitch. Waiting for my first service to begin the fight. I hope Ford realizes this isn't going to fly and issues a recall (and pigs will probably fly before that), otherwise a great truck.

Post Radiators...Radiators...Radiators

I just picked up my 5.4l Screw w/towing package and looked under the hood. What do you know a 1.02" radiator. I knew of this issue before I purchased the Screw (ordered it) but I figure it will either be worked out the hard way (class action) or the easy way (Ford recall).

I recieved information from my dealer on the cooling system specifications for Screws (F150 series trucks) with the super cooling (radiator upgrade-towing package #535 (#531)). Whether you have a 4.6l or a 5.4l engine, with the towing package you get the 1.42" radiator (1.02" is the standard).

I checked at the dealership and under the hood of a F150XLT 5.4l with the towing package and found a 1.02" radiator. I looked under the hood of a 5.4l Expedition without the towing package and found a 1.02" radiator. However under the hood of a 5.4l Expedition with a towing package I found a 1.42" radiator. Something isn't right here.

I live in Arizona. One of the main reasons I bought the towing package is for the upgraded cooling system. Just like many of you, I will be contacting Ford on this. I have the specification sheets from dealership (Ford documents). I will try to post them on this site when I get back from my business trip to Sweden in a week.

Has anyone contacted a class action Attorney yet? Lets band together.
