Any differences in the 2002 Super Crew?
Just wondering if anyone has heard rumors of any changes to the 2002 F-150, mainly the Super Crew? While I don't look for a body style change, what about engine or interior or headlight/grill/tail light?
In the most recent edition (April) of Popular Mechanics magazine Automotive section they show a "Detroit Spy Report" of the '02 Expedition. They state a partial redesign of door handles, grille, bumper fascia and headlights. From the picture shown, the headlamps are very similar to the '02 Explorer. Larger, more square.
The magazine has been proven to be accurate in these reports in the past. The F150 will probably inherit the same changes. IMO
I believe the local dealerships will not have any spec data until late May-June when ordering starts?
I plan on ordering a '02 SCrew. The current Navigator 5.4 300-hp motor would be a nice addition.

Here's what your Screw looks like all dressed up for dinner...........

It looks nice from the cab forward. But, those silly horizontal accent strips, only on the bed, look silly. Hoever, if someone was to do a Woody-Screw that would be something to see.

Like the article states;
"Ford's most popular vehicle, the F-150 pickup, is due for a modest facelift in the 2002 model year. You can tell just how modest from the lack of cover-up over the body lines. The more rounded grille, more curved bumper and larger headlights combine to produce what the industry calls a "modest facelift" for this, the country's best-selling vehicle."
Should've waited? Nope, glad I got it now.
