Cool HomeLink in King Ranch SCrew

I was looking into installing a homelink garage door opener (extraordinaire) into my Screw. This was a note from the (Homelink) company. FYI ....
"Thank you for visiting the HomeLink website and for your inquiry. At this time, HomeLink is not sold as an aftermarket product and is sold
directly to automotive manufacturers as a factory installed feature.

HomeLink is available on the 2001 SuperCrew King Ranch. If your vehicle is
the Lariat, the visor with HomeLink and TravelNote would be available as a
service part from your dealer
.

If you would like a HomeLink information packet, please call our customer
service center at 1-800-355-3515 (M-F 6 am - 7 pm MST and S & S 7 am - 5 pm
MST) or respond with a mailing address and I will be happy to forward one
to you.

As you may be aware, additional information can also be found on our
website www.homelink.com."

Best regards,

Angel Kleinbriel

Thumbs up

This is good to know. DO you know how much the home link item will cost from the dealer? Do you know the part number?

Cool

It's been several months since I started this thread ... here's an update from www.fordpartsonline.com . A little pricey for my taste, but .....

My question to them:
"Is it possible to order the "homelink & travel note" driver side sun visor from the 2001 F-150 SuperCrew, Kings Ranch edition. What would the price be and any idea how long it would take to get one since this is a new edition"

Their response:
"Part#1 reference;04105 tan visor w/Homelink
List Price:$384.38 Your Price:$288.29 Is it in stock? No, off backorder 3/30

ADDITIONAL NOTES:I do not know if additional parts are required to make this option work. Please add $8.00 for shipping.
