The dealer ordered my truck 0n 3/3/01. It is scheduled to be built the week of 3/19/01. It will be going from the KC plant to my dealer in Indianapolis. Any thoughts on when it will arrive?

All i can say is don't get your hopes up, i've had several different build dates and it keeps gettin pushed back. The dealers don't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground, and they'll say anything to get you off their back. Just have patience, i honestly don't see them getting your truck in 1 month, considering production has slowed so much, it'll be at least 2 months, unless you get lucky.

 

I agree with s/crew. My truck has been on order for 3 weeks and and doesn't have a build date. The GM is already aware of my displeasure so if your dates are indeed correct, I'm going to raise H E double L!

Placed order Jan 23. Called and lady said it should be picked for assemble any day. Dealer would contact me with info. Not holding my breath. Should be fishing, now I'm stuck at home doin chors!

I figure about another 3 to 4 weeks, if I'm lucky.

Mine's also scheduled for the week of 3/19. From what I've seen in other posts, we can expect delivery anywhere from two to four weeks later. Can't wait!

Haven't heard about anyone with a confirmed build date on VPOC having the build date pushed back.

I just got off the phone with the Customer Service department. I ordered Jan 25 and they said the build date was 3/5-3/12, somewhere in there, so it's built just waiting for delivery. They said i would receive it between 3/23-3/30, so i'm getting excited now. The number you call is:::

also depends on your dealer's size and priority... I ordered mine on my birthday (Jan. 12) and it arrived March 2nd all the way out here in California... I think my dealership's owner used to be pretty high up in the Ford ranks =)
