Question ford bedliner doesn't fit

The sides of my bedliner are starting to pop out from under the railings. Anyone else have this problem, and any suggestions. I remember reading that there were types of bedliners, the first being short and defective - couldn't find the link. Thanks.

I had the same problem. This is not the best remedy, but I heated the sides wuth a heat gun to get them movable and forced them back under. Then a little Super Glue sealed the deal. Best bet, see if the dealer will pull it and refund, because out of the hand full I have seen with factory bedliner, they all have the same problem. I'm saving out for a spray-on liner.

Barngoddess;
The BEST remedy is to take it back to the dealer. Here is a note from the thread listed below.... sound familiar ??? Duraliner, who makes the ford OEM bed inserts, didn't get it right initially, and made the sides about a 1/4 inch too short. Sounds like you got one of those ??!! See the thread ... BOL

August 6, 2000: "I installed the Ford/ Duraliner a few days after I picked up my Super Crew.It appeared to fit (just barely) under the rails. Since then, it has pulled away from the rails above the wheels. Photos are attached. I'm a little reluctant to drill holes and screw it into the bed. I suppose stainless steel screws with a little silicone would close the gap (see picture). Wonder if there is another "fix".How did the dealership attach the liner sides?"

The "fix" was taking it back for a correctly manufactured liner .... see the thread below...

If the bedliner does not fit properly take it back and have it replaced. The parts will be replaced just like nay other defect. Good luck I haave now had my second one for 7 months.

Wink

I am glad i saw this! I noticed this problem of it not fitting under the rail and was wondering if thatwas how it was suppose to be or if something was wrong! I have to go back to the dealer for a new piece of molding that was defective anyway, so i'll bring the bed liner to their attention also!
