Thumbs down Why are dealers such lying sacks of shytte?

After reading about how we all got screwed on our radiators, and other threads about taking problems to the dealers, it seems that these guys are almost universally lying sacks of crap. These guys will tell you anything to get rid of you once they've sold you a vehicle. Make no mistake - PROFIT is job 1 at Ford. Quality is way down the list IMO. While I have been lucky (no defects except the radiator rip), it seems others get a lot of BS from the dealerships after the sale. My dealer promised me a bed xtender at sticker ($180), but when I went back to pick it up, they demanded $300. I left without it (don't need it anyway). Ford customer service, just like all the other dealers, SUCKS! [/rant]
Sigh...
