My dealer just ordered a set of Ford molded splash guard for my incoming SCrew. After asking my dealer on front tire clearance, he was not sure for the 4x4 SCrews with 17" tires. I searched this site and so far couldn't find the answer. Does anyone have problems using the Ford molded front splash guards on their 4x4 SCrew w/ 17" tires? I would hate to drive off the lot and have them rubbing or rip off.

I'm looking for pictures of a SuperCrew with mud flaps, 17" wheels, and the factory running boards. My truck is white with silver trim so I hope the black mud flaps will look good.

I saw a silver SuperCrew on the road the other day with mud flaps...and they looked pretty good. I wish I had followed them so I could ask where they got them...

I do not have the factory steps. My dealer is having Westin nerf bars added before I pick it up Friday afternoon. Not sure if the front mud flaps would be different for factory side steps.

I installed Ford Splash Guards on my SCrew with factory running boards. Wasn't completly pleased with them. Had to modify them to get a god fit & to clear the front tires, and this with 16's.

Just curious...why did you choose Husky over the Ford splash guards? Do you have any clearence problems in the front with your 17" wheels?

It looks like the Husky flaps extend further up the wheel well on the outside...at least that's what it looks like if I compare yours to some previous pictures of the Ford flaps.

fordpartsonline.com has the Ford flaps for about $33 each pair I beleive. Do you all with larger tires find the flaps a necessity?

What were the part numbers for the Husky splash guards? Roadworks Auto shows that with flares and running boards that I should order #56501 (front) and #57511 (rear). However, I'm a little concerned based on a previous posting by "scford" in this thread:

"Scford" says that the Husky splash guards (#56501) don't work with 17" wheels because the tires hit the flaps when he turns. Is this true? Has anyone else had this problem?

I can't seem to get a good feel for which splash guards (Ford or Husky) work with the 17" wheels and the factory running boards. From all of the postings I've read on this board it seems that some people have troubles and others don't...

Also for those that ordered from Roadworks Auto...how long did it take for the splash guards to arrive from the time that you ordered?
