Question Bell Tech shackle kit; comments?

I notice some of you have lowered the rear end of your SCrew's with the Bell Tech shackle kits. Looks a lot better than the stock "nosedive", but what does this do for ride, handling and load capacities? Thanks!

I do not believe that it has any effect on the load capacity. I did notice some vibrations between 55 - 60 MPH and took the truck to a drive line shop. They said that the pinion angle was at the high end of the range and was able to turn the factory shim around to get it to the acceptable tollerance range. The trick fixed the vibrations and I only notice a slight vibration when I accelerate at 60 MPH.

I believe the truck looks a lot better and I am glad I lowered the back.

I too have the Bell Tech Shackles. Took about 30 mins to install and my truck is level as can be. See My pictures below.

To Tims56ford, I have the same harmonic noise
(vibration) at 55-60. Can you describe where exactly the shim is found???
Someone else suggested the same thing, reverse the shim. But I've layed underneath
and looked around and quite figure out what I'm looking for or where at. My guess is it's around the U bolts and springs somewhere.

Thanks for the input. I have the vibration/shudder at 60 mph in a new SCrew right off the lot. I thought I'd get a few miles on it before taking it in to the dealer.
