Great looking truck! I see you have the Bell Tech 2" shackles. I do as well but for some reason the rear on my SCrew is still higher than the front. Yours looks level. That was my goal. Did you make any other adjustment to level your stance? Thanks

Nothing but the Bell Tech 2" shackles. When I first put them on it didn't sit level. I don't know what happened, but she's level as can be now. Real easy to install, just put a floor jack under the Hitch, don't pay attention to how the instructions say to do it, just lift from the hitch, almost until the tires lift off. Forget the Gibson, I have had it two weeks, it is worse then stock.
I did the 9504, split duals, I talked to gibson on the phone and they said the split dual and dual sport use the same muffler. If so, I don't understand how everyone sings the dual sports praises, cause Man it's too quiet. How do you like the K&N???

My frt Air Dam is from www.truckmasterdesigns.com comes with two 55watt driving lites, they work great.
www.stylinconcepts.com and www.macromotive.com both carry the Air Dam
it is a FS630-S

Cool

Hey XTRUKY good job on the paint. I especially like the look of the front 3/4 shot. The hood and grill really make it all work. Can't wait to see what's next.

XTRUKY - The K&N filter is worth the money. I felt a definite increase with each mod starting with the MAF, then the Superchip and then the K&N. After the MAF and chip my truck ran so well I didn't think it could get better but the filter seemed to improve throttle response and smooth things out more. I'm sure the catback will offer a bigger gain in conjunction with the filter. I'm actually leaning toward the Corsa exhaust but my local dealer said it will be another 4-6 weeks before Corsa completes the catback for the Supercrew. I'm getting impatient and have read some positive threads about the Gibson. How tough was it to wire the fogs in with your lights? The truckmaster airdam is the best looking airdam I've seen so far. I will probably order it and have it painted Harvest Gold to match my accent color. Who has the best price?

To wire in the lites was a snap, everything is included. Relay, lighted switch, all wires cut to length, etc. I tapped into the PARKING light for the trigger, so I could do driving lites and parking lites, without headlamps. I also tapped the battery supply under the hood at the breaker box, I mounted the relay between the airbox intake thru the fender and the black power box. as far as the best price, can't say, check out both web sites I provided. Shipping was out of sight $26.95 because of oversized boxing.

My accent color along the hood and rockers WAS going to be House of Kolor, Passion Purple Pearl. But that is the color of the Phoenix Suns! I like them, but not enough to have my truck mistaken as a serious fan. Then I thought of a turquoise, someone said Miami Dolphins, so I'm at a standstill!
Suggestions anyone???

Cool

I loved your concept so much, I took it to my bodyman! Going to add a few more touches of my own! Looking at a Cervinis Ram Air Hood.
http://www.cervinis.com/images/130.jpg
Also my bodyman is going to recreate my Lariat pinstripes to match! Might even do some interior details to go along!
Let me know if this offends you! But I'll give credit where credit is due! Nice Idea!

To John Jennings1, Thanks so much for the compliment, however, I must admit that I got the idea from www.truckmastersdesign.com
They are the people who I bought the AirDam from. Check out the site, choose ford and see the Silver & Black Expedition sporting the FD630-S AirDam. This same Expy is in the April issue of TRUCKIN, where you can get a little better look at his paint scheme. I was going to do Viper Red or Viper Blue, but then I was at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale in Jan and saw a PT Cruiser painted Sunset Orange with Passion Purple flames and liked the color. I still have plans to do a band of paint along the Orange on the hood and sides. I have not decided on the color yet. I'm leaning toward a Blue of some type, anything from Powder Blue Pearl to a Brilliant Blue. Maybe Lime Green, another painter said do Mercedes Silver??????

XTRUKY Glad to hear it! I worry about things like that. I'll be happy to hear your ideas and will be glad to share mine! Right now I'm trying to decide on the exact color. Have always liked the Hugger Orange on 69 Camero's. But a Chevy color on a Ford Truck! I might find myself Cyberhung! How much was your airdam. Was thinking of just painting the stock one. Don't mind it that much. Besides want to spend the money on the hood! I'm also trying to tie the color into the interior. Ahh, the perpetual planning! Planning on holding off on engine mods until warranty runs out. Later!

The AirDam was about $250.00 give or take a little. I did try to find one off of a wrecked Expy or 4X4, but couldn't find one in the Phoenix area in time.

SuperCrewzer,

Did you replace or alter the MAF or?? And you noticed a power difference?

I'm thinking of a K&N II & Gibson SS. A chip will not help when I'm driving on propane.

Thanks

Femseadoo - The first mod I did was to replace the stock MAF with a Granatelli MAF. I noticed a definite difference in throttle response. Mike T. from Superchips said it felt "peppier" due to the MAF leaning out the air fuel mixture. Whatever the reason I believe it had a positive impact. The Superchip definitely gave a much bigger bang for the buck but if you can't utilize the chip, you may want to consider the Granatelli MAF.
