Question husky mat reshaping ?

Just got the husky mats and the rear mat was folded in the box. After taking it out it is still very bent. Does the shape return after a few days, or is there a way to reshape? Also, why are there 2 pieces for the rear instead of just one long one ? Can't stuff leak through ? Just doesn't seem right ? Thanks.

Mine was bent in the box as well. AFter a few days it will straighten out. It helps that I have kids who are more than willing to step in and out of dad's new truck!

I was wondering why there were two as well in the back. What I did was overlap the bigger one (that covers the center) over the smaller one so that anything spilled on the center section would roll onto the small piece. That way, nothing should get underneath to the carpet.

I did the same thing for the front with the hump cover (put it over the two regular front maps).

Hope this helps.

Thumbs up

Also, if you have Captain's chairs with console, don't cut all way to the spot designated on mat. This will allow you to fit the mat under the console to prevent any spillage to carpet between console and mat. To slide mat underneath console, you will also need to trim some of the nipples of the backside of mat.
