Airfilter
I have knowledge of the Amsoil filter but have never used one. As far as K&N goes, I had one in my 99 F150 Supercab, and have one in my wifes car and one in my car as well. I can't really say anything bad about them, but when I bought my 2001 Lariat SCrew, I went with the Jet Performence Power Flow Filter. I can't say it is better or worse, but I would say that I lean toward the Power Flow over the K&N. The K&N is a cotton media filter, and the Jet and the Amsoil are a foam type filter. After I installed my Jet filter, I could feel a nominal amount of power increase, and on heavy acceleration, the engine was a bit louder, and had a nice tone to it. I can't speak to the fuel economy difference at this point, as I haven't put enough miles on it to be able to tell. My Jet filter was purchased at Wrenchhead.com.
