hyacinth & tlister ? outland sport
I never saw the outland sport before . It's look's great on both of your truck's.This is really nice because it's not big & does'nt take away from the look's of the truck.
I have some question's though.
1.How easy was the install?
2.Did you loose use of tow hook's?
3.hycinth,where did you mount aftermarket light switch for the kc's?
4.HYcinth,how hard was your grill install? did it come with the ford logo?
I heard these were a pain to install.
Great looking truck's guy's
thank's for the help.....Mike

A competent, handy mechanic could install the Outland in about 1-1 1/2 hours. It took me a little longer since I'm such a novice. The most difficult part for me was drilling the 4 mounting holes in the frame for the lower brackets. Tow hooks are not affected at all.
I had the same guys who installed my lift also put my lights on. They did a really good job of placing the switch in an unobtrusive place--the flat area to the left of the steering column.
The grill is a Stull and once you figure out the instructions, it's not really that hard to install. I installed it by printing some of the suggestions people made under the "aftermarket parts" section of this board.
BTW, let me know if you want to purchase either or both of these parts. I know a friend who bought both and ended up not installing them since he got in a wreck. If interested, email me directly @ aalviar@acuson.com. Regards...
