Cool Yeah Baby !!

It's here !...Ordered it on Dec. 16th and it's here in just under 8 weeks....I'm picking it up saturday...I'm having the dealer install Westin Bars, an Extang soft Tonneau, and a Duraliner first....I paid too much for them to do the install but I bought the truck for under invoice so I was okay with it...I went to see it today and it looks as though the paint is good...I'll look closer when I pick it up...By the way, I got the $500 rebate AND the 3.9% financing.....I am totally psyched for saturday !!

Thumbs up

Alot of us are getting them this week. You're the 3rd on this board (including myself) the past week.
Make sure you go over the truck carefully, before you give them the check is the best time to discuss problems with the truck.
Have fun!

Yeah I just saw two S'Crews on the parking lot in front of Walmart with stickers on the windows. I went ahead and park next to those S'Crews and stand back looking at those marvelous machines. I got mine last Friday and still having hard time prying myself outta my own truck! Ordered mine on Dec. 9th and picked it up on Feb 9th. I think the S'Crews are coming out this month from the plant.

Seamark,
What do you mean? Do they alternate between supercabs and supercrews or something?

Question

Congrats. I'm getting excited reading about all these SCREWS arriving. The stork must have been busy. Ordered mine Jan.24, got VIN# on Feb.5. Dealer said it gets built next week. Did you track it's production through the dealer or Ford's website?

Actually I never bothered tracking mine....The dealer told me it would be here around the end of February so it's actually a little early...Thanks for all the advice from the members of this board !!...I bought it at Lucas Ford in Southold. It's out east a little but worth the drive...They specialize in trucks. I bought my 99 Supercab from them and have zero complaints with the truck or the dealership....If you venture out that way ask for Marty...He'll do the right thing...Tell him you know "Bill"...Good luck !

TRay...you can track production through Ford web site? If so how? I've been calling VOPC, which has been working, but web would be easier/quicker.

Would love to see progress of my truck via web.

Let me know...txs

I don't know what's going on at the Kansas Ford Plant. All I know is that I have seen so many new SuperCrews out on the road this week. Does that mean the Kansas Ford Plant finally got all the parts necessary to build many SuperCrews since there's no more freezing / snowy weather that cause lots of delay to ship in the parts to the KC plant ?????? Who knows the answer?

moose:

That is such a good deal I almost don't believe you. Off-road package? Moonroof? Leather seats?

I ordered mine loaded up with everything but the entertainment center and agreed to pay dealer invoice $31,230. MSRP was around $35,875. How the heck did you get it below $29,000. I'm dying to hear.

Since my 12/16/00 order is still "clean, unscheduled" and it is Feb 15., I may take the truck minus depreciation expense!

With a price like that you must be using the A plan. Because those numbers dont seem right if you bought it any other way.
