Smile On my way to pick up my SCREW!

Hi to all Screw owners and future Screw owners, I want to officially announces that my Screw is here and I am smiling as wide as the sea. I want to thank you all for the informations posted here.
Well, I am on my way over to the dealer and if everything goes great with the dealer then I will bring my Screw home.

Brossman, I sure hope you got your truck by now , huh? I don't know whether to kiss the dealer or slap him silly for calling me to come today to pick up the truck instead of two weeks later as he told me last Monday!

I know I won't be sleeping good over the weekend but that's alright ..it's worth it!

Later!

Angry

SeaMark,
You da man!!!
I know my truck is somewhere in the Denver/Boulder area, but the dealer has not called me to come pick it up.
I'm glad for you I walked around the dealers lot yesterday (in 10deg temps and snowy icy conditions) just to see a sign of the truck. Nothin!
But I have ordered my nerf bars, at this rate, they will be here before the truck.
Make sure you go over the truck well at delivery, I here you have much more control of the situation before they get the check and you drive off the lot. GOOD LUCK

Cool

To Brossman and others,

Hi there! I had to pry myself outta my Screw for a few minutes. Yesterday, at the dealer, things went great as long as I had the control of the situation. They were ready to ****** my check but I kept telling them that I am not going to write out the check until I see the truck and inspect the truck myself. They didn't try to give me hard time at all. Just that I don't want to hear their sales pitch on warranty , paint protections and all that gimmicks. Before I sign any papers I caught few things in the papers and questions about the information on it like where does that hidden fees come from etc. They quickly realize that I am smart and sharp when it comes to reading fine prints and stuff. I don't sign anything without reading it first. I have figured that I probably save few thousands of dollars by checking through the papers carefully. I know they are trying to earn some extra commission to make a living. Sorry for my rambling on.. anyway ..

My Screw has everything that I expected it to have. I am satisfied with the 4.6L engine. The headrests on the rear seat feels great for adults like me. I could remove it and put it back with no problem. I think the design of the headrest had change a bit so you can tell which side is the front when insert back on the bench seat.

The exterior color Dark Highland Green is really something. I feel like I have two different color on my truck. At night, my truck is almost black and at daytime, my truck is dark green. In a way, it's nice to drive a "almost black" truck at night. Then the truck looks great in dark green color during the daytime.

The ride feels somewhat too smooth for 4x4 F150 unless I am accustomed to how my old '94 2WD truck feels. It could be the difference between 15 inch and 16 inch tires.

The braking was unbelievable great! I almost hit few cars today on the beltway around DC but boy those brakes are really something. It could be those 4 disc ABS thing. Really AWESOME to stop within like 100ft or less when going from 60mph to near stopping speed to avoid hitting that lane-hopping-jerk!

I better stop yakking or I will type forever! I better hold my pants and try answer any questions you got.

This evening I will be busy showing off my truck to my friends and my relatives.

My jaw is still sore from all that grinning from ear to ear.

I will post some pictures here one day.
