Question 10 Spoke Wheels

I realize the 10 spoke wheels have been
discontinued, but I am looking at a SuperCrew
that has them.
What the reason that they were discontinued?
Do most people hate the look of them?
I can't decide if I like them or not.

Cool

Thanks for your opinion braboin.
I'm going go with it.
Island Blue/Silver 17" with 10 spoke.

I have really enjoyed this board. Everyone's
information has been a tremendous help to me
in the process of picking out my SCrew.

Am I the only Grandma that will be driving
around in a SCrew?

Airial,

Heh heh, I'm just a young pup, 25, this SuperCrew won't be completely mine for 5 years, but I can afford it so I wanted a nice truck to drive.

This is by far the best darn message board I've ever come acros, and the info and opinions are awesome! Good luck with buying your SuperCrew, you'll never regret it.

PS, if you're into a little more open air, and debating about the power moonroof, GET IT. I added it to my order the day before it went into production and I am SO HAPPY I did.

Keep Rollin

Airial,

At first I didn't really care for the 10 spokes since I hadn't really seen any trucks with them, but I wanted the 17" wheels and didn't like the Lariat wheels at all. I forgot that the Expy Sport Edition had the same wheels for the year 2K. Anyways, the 10 spokes did grow on me real quick, once the truck rolled off the convoy trailer.

Only now do I wish I'd ordered a little while later, since the O/R Pack now comes with the 17" teardrops I had to give up with the trade-in of my Expedition.

The one thing I learned is that it's more time consuming cleaning the brake dust off these wheels than the teardrop wheels on the Expy ever were. But no biggie............

PS: The 10 spokes do look very good on our Isl blue/sil. frost combos.

I went with the XLT just so I COULD get the 10 spoke rims. I like em a helluva lot more than the icky chrome 5 spokes. To me they look sportier.
