When We bought my Wife's Screw we just bought the Westin nerf bars from Ford. They do the job.

Question

The new screw will be here in a few weeks and I'll need some Nerf bars too....I didn't want the running boards - Anyone know what type of nerf bars DBADER has on his Screw ? - There's a picture of it in the thread on two-tone colors awhile back (DK. Highland Grn. & Arizona Beige)

My wife is vertically challenged also and has the stock running boards on her Expedition.

I wanted a more sporty look on my truck, so I got the stock Ford black oval step bars on my Island Blue SuperCrew. They are rock solid and I think they look better than any of the aftermarket ones that I have seen.

My SuperCrew 4x4....Check Out These boards Made By "Owen Boards" (2124B).

Custom paint, install is easy, very very sturdy and they fit like a glove...I get other Crew owner's asking me about these boards all the time.

I'll sell you the factory Ford cab steps off my 2001 SuperCrew. I replaced them with chrome nerf bars after about 6 months. The steps are actually better for kids/wife and they keep the snow and mud out a lot better than the nerfs. I put the nerfs on strictly for looks.

Email me and we can work out a price. They are in great condition and I have all the mounting hardware. My email address: stroud13@att.net.

By the way ts_toy--I bought my SuperCrew in Clovis, NM in 2000 at Big Country. I noticed you were from Portales - I could even deliver the steps on my next road trip to the Land of Entaxment.
