Spoke w/ dealer today and he told me my priority listing for my order is 12. Has anyone had is priority code and if so how long did it take? Can I expect the 3 months he is telling me or is he building in some buffer?

My priority code was 10. I asked the sales manager what that was about and he said "10 means ship as available". He explained that codes are used to stagger delivery times so they don't get all red one week and all green another week. Maybe 12 is 2 better than 10? Wouldn't hurt to ask. BTW mine was 7 1/2 weeks to delivery, including the week shut down for the holidays. Good luck.

The priority code is set by the dealer for which orders they want built first. The lower the better. "10" is the lowest that the dealer used to be able use. Each sales manager has the option of making his own "lowest" number at the dealership. It has no effect on the way allocations are pulled from other dealers orders. It only prioritizes the orders for the dealer.

 

I had a priority "10" and my order sat for 6 weeks as "Clean & Unscheduled". I called the dealer who called their factory rep who bumped the priority to a "2". The lower the number the faster you get built. I got a serial number and build date a week after I got my priority bumped up. Total order took 3 months for me. Others have taken delivery after 4 weeks. Others still have taken 5+ months.
