I am having some paint work done on the outside of my SCrew. I also want to have a few interior parts painted the same color, i.e. Radio surrond, pass side airbag cover, steering wheel airbag cover, door switch plates etc. Can the airbag covers be PRIED OFF without blowing up in my face?

 

Absolutely not. The vinyl/rubber cover is molded/melded to the actual airbag's mechanical unit. If deployed, the whole unit has to get replaced.
