Painting the Plastic's
On my 97 Explorer I had the Air dam, running boards and bumper covers painted body color.
Now I have a 2001 SCrew and I want to do basically the same thing. Does anyone know the CORRECT procedure to prepare the plastic's and shoot to body color. I want the air dam in front, rear bumper cover and tailgate trim, running boards, bed rails, etc to be painted. What type or brands of prep can I ask the painter to use ?????
Before you ask, the old shop went out of business.
