Post Need King Ranch Info

Can any of you refer me to a page or give me more info on the King Ranch. Thus far I cant even find it on the Ford web page.

Do any of you have one? Is it worth the money? What colors are specific to it?

Thanks

don

Here's the link, right on this site........

https://www.f150online.com/fordnews/66.html

Dealers only began officially taking orders around 11-1-00 for January(?) deliveries. Computer inquiries showed up in my dealer's system the 2nd week of October for ordering his stock inventory though.

Colors:Estate Green, Chestnut and Charcoal Blue, all w/ Arizona bottom paint.

Price: Don't hold me to this, but I think around 2K over Lariat base price.

Before Ford upgraded the interior in what we are calling the Generation III Screws, the Kings Ranch made a lot more sense. Now you really don't get much with it -- although it's not much more than a loaded Lariat.

I saw two on the floor about two weeks ago. The leather on the seats appears to be thicker than the conventional leather seats. Seat itself looked sharp! I don’t remember the exact price but 2k sounds about right. I personally did not like how the color of the seats matched the rest of the interior. The seats were more of a brown, while the interior trim looked like the same parchment color in a conventional Lariat trim model. I would also prefer a bench seat in the rear instead of the captain’s chairs to allow 5 passengers instead of 4. One was a green and the other was blue.

I think the Harley Super crew will have the same seating arrangement but at least the trim and seats will match.

I've got a copy of the sales brochure and have seen several on the lots in Houston. Leather on the seats appears nicer than the Lariat. Don't like the captain chairs in the back. Would prefer the bench. Three colors, Estate Green, Chestnut, Charcoal Blue.
Base price MSRP (including Destination and Delivery) 4x2-$30,910: 4x4-$34,365. Can't figure out how to attach a scanned image. If you have a fax or email I'll forward a copy.

When is the king ranch due for a makeover again? Also will there be a KR version of the Ford Sport Track ever?
