Post Fit and Finish

Sitting in the drivers seat and looking over the dash, I noticed a wide gap (1/2"+or-) between the dash and the window trim. Is that the way it's made or is it a fit and finish problem?

Wink

Both.

It's made that way and Ford has been taking the flack for yet another example of poor F&F in an upscale vehicle from some Auto Critics.

Son-of-a-gun. At least it's not "just" poor workmanship.

I'm having a question about the "finish" part with my Screw. I can see swirl marks in about 4 places on the truck. I hope (or they better) the dealer will take care of it. You can see one in the middle of the front passenger door here. It's worse in person when it's clean. Is this a factor of having a non-metallic paint? Or can any goof like me clean this up with wax?

"First On Race Day" I used to root for the Valvoline car and the Ford Credit/Quality Care car. Now I have to root for the Viagra car and the UPS car. What's the world coming to?
