Ordered SCrew, please explain VOPC
I have lurked for several months now and this site has provided great information, thanks to all.
I just ordered the truck you see in my sig. I cannot wait to start adding aftermarket items, I won't bore you with the list. I am interested on how I use VOPC to track my vehicle.
What do I need? What is the number? What are the states I should expect to see and what do they mean? Are there "bad" states I should look out for? I have read some issue that Ford has requested not to give out this information, is it for dealer use only?

I am in the same situation. Oredered yesterday. However, I remembered seeing an old post and found it with search. Checkout post from LRM dated 3/17/2000 in SuperCrew, "Order Date". Has explanation of VOPC (Vehicle Order Processing Center). I have not tested to see if this still works. Good Luck.

2001 SuperCrew XLT, Captain's Chairs, 6 CD, Tow Package, 5.4L, 3.55 LS, Silver Metallic w/ Dark Graphite. Ordered 12/01

It is probably a little early to start tracking the order, it has been only 3 days now, but sometime after the first of the year I'll give it a try.
I am so looking forward to getting my first new truck in almost 10 years and my first new american auto ever. I hope quality and service do not disappoint, but just in case, I will buy the extended warrenty from WarrentiesDirect
