Exclamation Head Rest Parts

Spent a lot of time with the service manager at a dealer. After inspecting the rear seat, he seemed to think that the seat assembly is ready to accept head rests and that I just have to roder the parts. He suggested that I wait 30-90 days until Ford sends the dealers specs on the NEW back deat assembly.

The service manager gave me a print out of the front seat assembly showing the part numbers for the head rests. He said that the part numbers will likely be the same for the rear seat.

Anyone else done this?

Anyway, assuming the rear seat takes the same head rests as the front seat, the part numbers would be: 611A08,613D58, 613E02, 613E04, 613E06, 613D36, and 60296.

You need your trim too. I have beige leather and my trim code is EH.

Uhh, "roder" should be "order" and change "deat" to "seat". Jeez.

2001 SuperCrew, Lariat, DWBlue/Beige, Tow Package, 5.4 Triton V-8, Ltd-slip Diff., Sliding rear window, 6 Cd, and Moonroof. Ordered 07-17-00 and delivered 10-6-00. $200 under invoice from Mike Buckley at Al Bilton Ford in Holly Hill SC (803-496-3150).

MODS: Uhh, let's see, I treated the leather and sealed the paint. Does that count?

Big Daddy,

See leathermotive.com for the "leatherique" oil. It's pretty good. I haven't let the seats get in bad shape so it's hard to tell, although it did a real nice job on my wife's Coach leather bag.
