Does the Supercrew have outside heated mirrors, and if not are they available as a option or aftermarket addition.Thanks in advance.

 

I think they might, one morning everything was fogged up and I turned the defrost on. I noticed that the mirrors defogged from the center out.

Wait till you have a freezing rain, and turn on the defroster. If those mirrors are heated, you'll know quick enough!!

Started the truck this morning and everything was fogged up. After turning the defroster on, the outside mirrors quickly defogged before the windshield. Could there be heated mirrors on the crew??

Don't think my 2001 has em'. They've stayed iced over for 2 days or more. Of course, I've only used Flr/Def position, so that may be my problem. Anyone know?

I don't think they have heated mirrors. I have a Ford Crown Victoria with heated mirrors, and they are activated by turning on the rear window defroster. It also says "heated" right on the mirror. Plus, the SCrew owner's manual doesn't say anything about them. I think if they had heated mirrors, they would definitely let us know about it.

 

www.ford.com shows them as an option on the Lariat SCrew.
