No luck with the 2nd dealer finding the problem, but the outside temp was pretty cool when they had it, so of course if worked fine. Overall I was pleased with the dealer though and there seems to be a difference with the way a Lincoln dealer treats customers, even if they drive a pickup
I too needed an alignment and had it done yesterday. My front tires were wearing unevenly even though I have rotated twice in 10k miles. My guess it was out of alignment from the factory.

This will give you an idea why I switched dealers: Yesterday I needed to order hardware (nuts) to install my factory cab steps. I called my dealer s parts dept. and (I am not making this up) 2 parts employees DID NOT KNOW WHAT A SUPERCREW WAS! They insisted I must have a SuperDUTY, since ford does not make a 4 door F150. I had to give him the VIN number for him to look up the parts.
Good luck with your A/c. Nothing worse than multiple trips to a dealer to fix a new vehicle.

i will post the results of my trip to DEALERSHIP LAND, where anything is possible. the a/c is intermittant,, suddenly it will start to blow warm ,, and after that it will act perfect for a few days. i hesitated before brining it in ,hoping it was a bad day that would not repeat... i assume they will start with the high pressure switch and use the process of elimination as most dealers do.. after reading the post from oldkoot he persuaded me to take it in. it needed a front end alignment anyway,,it drifted slightly to the right. i'll let you know... did you have any luck when you brought yours to the second dealer?

the a/c switch seems to have done the trick,,, the balance was done on a hunter 9700 machine the service writter told me, what ever that is .. the weights on the tires are significantly reduced and in much different places on the rim... rides wonderful for a 4x4. i cant imagine a parts dept. not knowing what a super crew is,,,,scary,,, but as i always say,,,,,anything is possible in ..DEALERSHIP LAND.....they did a good job this time...
