CDaRip2U,
I really like the ******** decklid, it leaves me plenty of room under it to carry everything I need to, plus it added couple of mpg too. It was the only one that completely covered the bedrail in the front. The finish is not perfect, if you were to see it up close you'd see that the edges are not sanded perfectly straight and that the left and right front edge varies slightly in shape. It is definitely a hand made product. The thing I liked best about it was the nice gap around the bed sides and back, with a rubber seal all around. I knew this lid would not damage my composite bed and would have a good watertight seal. I looked at a few others around here:
Snugtop (very nice uniform finish and workmanship, but left a little bit of the front part of the bedrail exposed)
Topdeck (left a lot of the front bedrail exposed and others who had them told me they scraped the rear of the truck... this is real bad with a composite bed)
Stockland ( also left the front of the bedrail exposed and seemed to fit too tight on the bed; I saw rub marks under one on a dodge.)
As for the audio details, check out this thread https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000462.html
Fedexpilot has some great pictures of his install, and my stuff is somewhere near the middle, look for 'lnavarro'

RED S-CREW,
The ******** was $565 plus tax. ******** makes them in White or Black, paint to match is usually extra.
Later on I saw a guy with one on a gold F150 SuperCab who said he got his for $575 with the matched paint job.
Sounds like deals can be made ;-)

Nice looking machine. I was real surprised and have been impressed with the white supercrews. It's a color that I was never real fond of, but the crews look great in white. It's a sharp truck. Nice job!

Thanks for the comments, Lightguy. As far as white ones go, I'd like mine to look like sah7's someday

i like how you installed the amp in the compartment behind the backseat, however you only have one eight maybe? im thinking about installing two 10's possilby two 12's if i could cram them in that half of a seat. The amp im thinking about locating under the passenger side seat. I think it would heat up nicley in the compartment, however i like the idea
kaz,
yeah I worried about it heating up in there also, but have not had any problems to date. I'm running a single 8 at 4 ohms and the amp is bridged, plus I don't really turn it up that loud, so that's probably why it's been OK. I suspect if you were really pushing an amp at low resistance and cranking it all the time you might get problems as there is absolutely no circulation back there. There's plenty of room under the front passenger seat, but be careful about putting stuff under the back seats cause when you lower the seat there is a support bar that sweeps down and gives little clearance. Your sub box will have to be removable if you plan to lower the back seats ever
