Tranny Jerk and shutter.

I seem to have the same problem. I've got 1100 miles on it, and it doesn't seem to get any better. The other day, I was in slow moving traffic, and everytime I stepped on the gas pedal it would seem to jerk in after a sec or so. Also, sometimes when starting from a full stop, I may get a little shutter before really going.
This is my first full size truck. Just wondering if some of this is normal for a truck, or could something be wrong? Had a '91 Explorer a while back, never had this type of shutter or jerk in feeling.
Anybody else got this possible problem?

I wonder if it is the limited slip rear-end? The last Ford I had, the motor was replaced (infamous piston slap.) Please tell me it isn't the tranny in this one.
Do you get the real soft shifting too? Mine takes much longer to shift gears than any other truck I have owned.

T21, it sound like you have a problem, I would definitly get back to the dealer to check out.
Kkirt1, I think the dealer can actually change you trans to shift a little stiffer. It's all computer controlled now.
