Post Access Roll Up Cover

I received a good bit of info on the other post regarding the ARE cover. How about the Access Roll Up Cover. Thoughts, opinions, how well does it work, cost, easy to care for, workmanship, etc.

Thanks.

Access Roll Top
Pro
Good basic design, VERY convenient, easy to install or totally remove for that matter, no permanent mods to truck. As secure as you can be with a soft top, easy to operate, looks good on SCrew.
Con
I had some leaks initially
(don't think it was designed for driving tropical downpours) but these were easily fixed with some carefully placed foam rubber gasket strips from ACE hardware (2.98). The corners of the cover itself could be more neatly finished off.

I'm generally pleased and would get it again. http.//www.realtruck.com had the best prices.

Thumbs up

I love mine! I just wish that I'd gotten the locking model. It's very handy, looks great, and seals "good enough" for me.

Question

Hi JScharton!

Do you have any pics of this roll up cover on your Supercrew?

This is what I am looking for, but would love to see a pic of one on a Screw before we make the purchase.

I also conidered this cover, but went with the folding Advance hard cover instead.

Why did you go with the Advanced?

Pros:
Easy to install, remove, open and close. Looks like a hard top (most people think it is) but is less expensive. Takes up very little space when rolled up. Quite secure (for a soft top). Nice aluminum hardware and a heavy vinyl cover. Looks good.

Cons:
Not totally leak proof. Some water will come in at the corners (sounds like docker may have found a solution to this problem). Flaps a little when at highway speeds - doesn't make any noise though.

All in all I really like this cover. It's nice to have the ability to roll it up when you suddenly find yourself having to haul something home that won't fit under the cover. It's easy to open when you need to get up in the bed to wash the roof. I'm waiting to see how well it works in the winter.
