Spray in liner - water infiltration
A question for all you S.Crew owners who have spray in liners with a bed cover.
Does the spray in liner seal the bed real well? Especially where the bed meets the cab? I'm concerned that water will get in from underneath and the bed won't stay dry even though I have a cover on.
Another question. How thick usually are the spray in liners?
Thanks.

There's a gap between the floor of the bed and the front of the bed when they put the truck together. These "holes" can be filled by a Rhino Liner if you ask them but they usually leave at least some of the spaces open. When you wash your truck the water can drain out through these holes and you won't get any water from underneath unless you're going through rivers on the way to work. You may want the holes for breathing with a full cover on the bed?
I got the Rhino Lining installed a few mosths ago and it's 1/4" thick on the bed floor and about 1/8"+ on the sides. Looks great and lifetime warranty. The only problem is that if you haul stuff and you want to slide things in, it's sticky and won't let you easily slide your load in and out like a removable bedliner would. But who cares, it's the way to go. Just do it.

Thanks for the info. I found out yesterday that the nearest place around that does either Rhino or Line X, is about 2 hours away. So that kind of makes my decision. I'll probably have to go for the drop in bedliner.
Thanks Again.
