new exhaust on my super crew

Hey guy's I just put on a straight pipe exhaust on my 05 F150 I noticed a drop in my low end torque and horsepower, I love the way the system sounds but was wondering if there was any thing I could do to it to make up the low end I lost?

The lack of backpressure is causing the loss of torque. A tuner and intake would probably help.

Throttle body spacers are useless on these trucks

Yup. Custom tunes and I would suggest the DWV intake to save some dough. A quick search should bring up results on the DWV intake.

Yep, throttle body spacers will only make your truck make a weird whistling noise.

How do you know you lost horsepower & torque? Just by feel? Did you simply remove the muffler or were there other mods like removing the cats or different headers? You didn't remove the Oxygen sensors did you?

your engine is not tuned to run like that. If you don't want an exhaust that is made for the truck than a "Tuner" as mentioned above is you best bet.
