Minncrew,
I'm interested in the Raven topper you installed. My dealer said he could get one for me at cost since they botched my order. Any info would be appreciated (model, fit, color match etc..) Are raven's built by Glasstite? Also, have you posted PICTURES or seen a post of a S.Crew with a Raven?
Thanks,
Cooper

Cooper, I read your post; I keep track of Minncrew because I want to see what his looks like (my truck will be very similar.)
You may interested in this post I just submitted:
I've looked at several shells and decided on a Glasstite 2000 high-rise because of its unique door. When I called Glasstite, they said they don't make them yet.
They build shells upon consumer demand from their distributor dealerships. When I called a dealer, he said he hadn't heard of that, but a Glasstite rep. was there and he asked him.
The rep. said that Glasstite needs "x" amount of requests from dealers for customers before they'll make a 2000 model.
So everyone that's interested, call a Glasstite dealer and tell them that you want a Glasstite 2000 and you want them to put in a request to Glasstite. (No name or deposit required).
Go to "www.Glasstite.com" The pic of the Crew on the hompage is a Raven cap that they already make.

Cooper and femseadoo,
Sorry about the late response, haven't been online much lately, It's huntin season!
The Raven is built by glasstite here in Minnesota. I believe they only have on model for the screw but I don't know the model # (I'll check to see if it's on the reciept).Color matching was not a problem for me since black is black. It took 1 week for delivery and was installed in about 2 hours. The side windows are sliders and the rear is a two handle style. It's not the most expensive topper but it looks good and serves the purpose.
I just talked to another guy who has the Raven and he said he first had a LEER but had to take it off since it scratched the paint on the side of the bed. I was going to buy the Leer also but the dealer would'nt even sell me one due to this problem.
I will try to post a pic this week if I can get someone to help me do it. Not much of a computer user but I do have access to a dig. camera.
Take Care,
Minncrew

Coop,
Hunting has been great. Shot a 6 point buck with my bow and have been getting a few grouse here and there. Going up to northern Minnesota this weekend with the kids to try for a few more.
I'm not sure exactly how long it takes to install the top, I dropped the truck of and picked it up about 2 hours later and they were just finishing up with it. They clean it up and install some weather stripping along the bed rails and then hook up the rear brake light. I think they had to install the hardware also.Doesn't seem it would take 2 hrs but I wasn't in a hurry.
I'll try to get a pic up by the end of the week.
Later,
Minncrew
