Question

rick,,,i have never flet much vibration at those speeds. my sc 4x4 does remember its a truck around 75/77mph and gets silky again at 80mph (goodyears) , but at slower speeds its as smooth as "butter". some times you will experaince some drone vibration or some exhaust vibration at constant speeds but nothing which would require an actionalbe visit to "dealership land" where anything is possible. if it is really a concern to you .. go to the dealership and make them remember what its like to spend $30,000 and not be satisfied.

Cool

Rick;
There have been some earlier posts about "loose" (laterally) brake pedals. Have you tried adjusting the forward position of the pedals (with the switch)? If so, is there any effect ? BOL...

FedExPilot
thanks for the input.
The adjustable pedal switch has no bearing. In overdrive or out: has no bearing. In the harder accelerations vib goes away. It's the slight moving of the pedal that does it.
To best describe it: It feels like the accelerator cable is sawing back and forth. It's not kinked or sticking. ???

I have been driving my S-Crew XLT 4X4 for 1100 miles and have never noticed the vibration you are describing. As a natter of fact one thing which impresses about this truck is how smooth and quiet it drives and feels.

Mtnmike,
I agree, this truck is awsome, very quiet and smooth. This situation is wierd. I do not feel it in the tires or body of the truck. Just the pedal.
Anyway, Ford has nailed it! I am diggin' this ride.

thanks

I've noticed the vibration/sticky throttle cable feel as well, but it has been diminishing the more I drive (or I'm getting more used to it...).

Question Vibration in gas pedal!

I just purchased a maxed out White SC 2WD Lariat. I am feeling the vibration always.
It's really noticable once the tranny shifts gears and running around 20 to 40 MPH. If you you slightly press and backoff the pedal you can really feel it.
I drove another one and it also vibrated.
Has anyone else experieced this. I brought it to my dealers attention. They agree with my dilemma but offer no assistance.

I have zip tied a shoe insole to the pedal to assist in this matter.

Please advise..
