Went w/Ravin33 & side pipes
Sometimes I pull a M/C trailer so I didn't want the pipes straight out the back. Thought I'd try out the side in front of the rear tire. Total out the door was $225 for the Ravin 33's Single in and dual out...
So far, so good. Haven't been on the Xpressway yet.

I do like it. The tail pipes are slant cut. I had them installed at 45degrees. Not straight down and not straight back. I split the difference at 45. At highway speeds... no problem with drone. I hear them at ignition and anytime I goose it. Otherwise, very pleasant.
I decided to go with the 33's and side pipes first. Figured I could always change the setup from there if it was too loud but I plan on keeping it as is. The 33's are fine and I saved about $100 by not running them all the way out the back.

Ive read a lot of posts (maybe in the L forum) about the exhaust coming from pipes in front of the wheel actually doing permanent damage to the wheel's polished surface. Oem or AM, chrome or alum, clearcoated or polished, I dont remember what wheels they were talking about. I just remember them bitchin about it.
