Red face Battery Connection Help!

Trying to install an amp in my 2001 SuperCrew. Never done this before. How do I get the power cable from the inside to the battery? Have heard about "grommets". Are there any, if so where are they located?
Or are there any other openings or do I have to drill a hole in the floorboard or firewall?

Please help!

Under the Carpet or vinyl, on the drivers side behind the pedals there SHOULD be a grommet. Its a hole plugged with a rubber stopper that allows for passage of wires between the cab and engine compartment. Just pop the rubber stopper out and cut a X in it and run the wire through the X then replace the stopper. All done. Easy, Pisey, Japenesy.

You can see the rubber plug from the engine compartment: open the hood and look at the brake master cylinder, it is just to the left of it from your vantage point (standing in front of the truck.)

If you make a slit and push a straightened wire hanger carefully through it you can look for it from the other side under the drivers side dash. Be careful not to poke through any wires or anything else.

I ran my power cable for my amp under the drivers side door sills into the rear storage compartment.
