Called VOPC last night. Says as of 9/21, scheduled to be built week of 10/9. My dealer is a priority 10, whatever that means.

Anyone notice that the build dates come in two week segements? That's how they batch them so we saw lots of 9/18 and now 10/2.
The last cutoff order date for 10/2 was 9/8 so I ordered mine 9/7. Got an immediate DORA with date of 10/2 priority "01", yes "01". Delivery week of 10/23, seven weeks. Unusual orders will be batched in 8 week cycles. In theory your truck is batched before you order it. Statistically they know when someone will want one. All those bean counters you know. That means if you had an unusual order and missed the last cutoff, you could wait 8 weeks to get a build date and then 8 weeks before they start. Someone here said it, timing is everything.

8/24 - clean and unscheduled;

8/25 - scheduled to be built week of 9/25;

9/22 - as of 9/25(??) scheduled to be built week of 9/25 with estimated date of delivery 10/16.

9/29 - as of 9/27, shipped by rail w/ est. arrival of 10/13

Still looking like 8-10 weeks.

Called VOPC yesterday-no change "Build Oct2 ect....

Called VOPC 10 minutes ago " As of October 3rd your vehicle is locked in for production week of October 2nd with an estimated arrival at your dealership October 30th."


If this stands true it will be about 14 weeks from paper to SCREW.

I called this morning and my build date is still Oct 2nd, but my arrival date was given as Oct 16th. If this happens, this will be the first thing that has been ahead of schedule.

After 13 weeks, the end is finally in sight.

Hope you 10-2 build date buyers that keep up via VOPC keep us posted. I ordered 7-14 and recently notified of a build date of 10-2. I started looking at other dealers and found my exact truck-except no tow or limited slip. Hate to give up the LS over a couple of weeks.

Don't give up and hang in there... The Tow option is the best bargain for what you get and the limited Slip will help with the snow...

Besides, If you are going to pay 25 to 35 grand on a vehicle, don't put yourself in a position of being sorry you didn't get everything you *really* wanted. It really is too much money to fool around and settle for less than acceptable options.

I must have ordered from the wrong dealership - Ordered on 8/4, have DORA with priority 10 and VOPC states as of 9/27 "clean and unscheduled". Maybe Ford is out of white or silver paint or maybe my dealer had no allocation for F-150's (ofcourse that's not what I was told when I ordered). Well the down payment just keeps growing with each paycheck - at this rate no loan maybe needed.

P.S. - Glad to see the rest of you getting your SCrews.
