Thumbs down Front Fender Emblems

Does anyone know if the Front Fender F-150 Emblems come off without leaving holes in the sheetmetal?

How about the Blue Oval and F-150 emblems on the tailgate. Tape or otherwise?

Cool

Looks like 2 sided tape to me. Manufacturers tend to shy away from mounting pins into barrel clips(holes drilled into the body panels) due to the rust problems that occur. Body shop should be able to confirm mounting for you.

Cool

Not sure about the crews but there are 2 pins on the back of fender and tailgate badges. They are there to align the badges.

Angry

Yep, there are holes. I was sooo disapointed when I discovered that! I prefer to have no logos.

I'm not sure about the side emblems, but the blue oval on the tailgate sits inside a small depression in the sheetmetal, so if you remove the oval, the tailgate will look goofy with the oval dent....at least my tailgate has this feature.....
the way I look at it the indent was put there for a few reasons: easier for the monkey to apply the blue-oval, the worst he/she could do is mount it upside down,
Someone at Ford didn't like the idea of us costomizing our vehicles and added this feature to minimize the removal of the badges.....or to make the tailgate more expensive for the aftermarket to produce and re-sell ????
