Angry Smittybilt sucks...

Don't know if anyone else has tried to order anything from Smittybilt lately, but I ordered a set of chrome nerf bars and Outland Sport Grill over 5 months ago (spending over $700 for the order, not including tax and shipping). The nerf bars finally came in after 4 months, and were damaged (maybe no fault of vendor, but don't know as box did not look damaged). However, the front guard took over 5 months to get in. And when it did, Smittybilt had packaged the wrong brackets so the guard could not be installed. I am now waiting another two weeks for the right brackets. If I don't get brackets soon, I am going to tell Smittybilt what they can do with their products. Oh well.

NM,

Where exactly did you order the Smittybilts from?? What was their website?? Because Smittybilt does not sell direct. There is a retailer (pickuptruckaccessories.com)that does have www.smittybilt.com as a link to their site and their prices are ridiculous in my opinion.

I ordered Outland Sport Bars from Carparts.com last week and they came this past Friday with all parts intact. I just wish my truck was here to install them on.....:>(

Wink

Sorry to take so long in responding (been out of town with no computer). Anyway, I ordered everything from Desert Rat here in Albuquerque. They are as upset as I am, and are trying to help me out with some good deals on other mods (like a suspension lift). But we are still waiting for the brackets from Smittybilt. Hopefully next week I'll get everything done. Really glad all your stuff came in so fast (don't know how you were able to do that as Desert Rat talks to Smittybilt directly...go figure). Just check those brackets!

smittybilts suck

bought my 05 F150 SuperCrew with nerf bars and the pads are cheaply fastened to the chrome nerfs. Lost my drivers ford pad and the dealer says I can't buy just the pad. I need to buy the whole nerf bar and they only come in a pair for around 500.+, but he said to contact smittybuilt and they might sell or possibly give me a replacement. Yeah right I can't find there contact info. anywhere on the web. Anyone know how to contact them. I would never purchase these smittybuilts again. To bad my truck when I bought it new was fully equipped with all the goodies and these nerf bars where part of the package. Not such a goodie in my assessment. Any help would be appreciated.
