Post Help Find Truck

Hello All,

I wrecked my supercrew 8-27, probably totalled. Waiting on insurance. I had a black/gold Lariat, and want another one. Any body see one, let me know, have airplane, and besides insurance can pay. Tan leather interior captains chair, limited slip, 6 disc cd, 5.4l engine, tow package.

I hate they dropped harvest gold or I would order one and drive the rental while waiting.

I'm in north carolina, but can travel the east coast to retrieve.

TIA,

Must have really liked the truck!

Now you wait - again - like the rest of us!

Sorry, this waiting stuff is for the birds.

I drove a black and gold Lariat last weekend. If you want to fly to Missouri I think it is still on the lot!

Good luck with the insurance!

Randy, Good news!

I just looked at a blue oval dealer: www.phillong.com, Phil Long Ford in CO and they have 20 Crews in stock, 2 of them are black/gold Lariats with parchment.

Hopefully you were you able to walk away from the wreck.

Question

randymechanic,

I, too, hope you came out okay in the accident and I hope you find the new one you're looking for.

If you don't mind talking about it, I'd really like to hear how well you felt the Supercrew protected you and any other occupants in the accident, in terms of handling, braking, structutal integrity, etc. One of the reasons I purchased mine was to have the safety of a "big" vehicle.

Very curious,

Thank-you for your concern. Yes we all walked away, myself, wife, and 16 yr. old daughter. I have a broken rib, the others are just bruises from seat belts and knots on heads from windows.

The truck performed excellent. I also forgot to mention it was 4x4. thr font end is gone, the frame is bent. We hit so hard, drivers corner first, that the battery, located on passenger side, was turned upside down on top of engine. The left front whell was broken of at the top ball joint. The only sheet pieces of the front-end are the left head/parking lamp, and the grill. The air bags did not go off. My opinion the truck is totalled. I really don't want it back anyway. I can't even buy FORD's extended service plan now.

If any body wants to see pictures, I have a few I can email you. Send address to
rcs@ols.net.

Thanks again for your concern. Also it was the other guys fault.

TIA
