Detroit News Review
It's been kind of quiet lately, so I thought I'd liven things up by passing along this link to a review of the SuperCrew

Thanks for the laugh. Apparently they were confused and were expecting to critique a car. I had a long list of replies to the article on how they obviously know nothing about trucks, but I think the picture of those two bozos says it all. It's a real shame they had to get their clothes dirty.
The he/she thing made me throw up. They call that a review?
They probably have or need chauffeur to drive their candy a$$es around the park one more time.
Biff, Tad, Muffy! (or whatever your name is..) Get a real job and stay away from SuperCrew reviewing and get your clothes dry cleaned.
Give me a break!

At first I could not figure out what the deal was with (Paul & Anita Lienert) but then it has to be brother and sister, cause that guy sure seems a little macho(NOT!!)

They should stick with writting about "bimmers and other such", as they obviously know little of anything else. Wonder if they ever drove a Hummer??

It really is hard to believe that either one of the reviewers have ever driven a 4x4 truck!
Let's see if we can't cram it into 4x4 mode then do a few lock-to-lock u-turns in the asphalt parking lot! Can you say clunk, clunk, clunk?

I'm sorry for the second post, but I went back and read the review agian. The thought of "bif" smashing the plastic bed liner down with his fist brought tears to my eyes.
I wish I could write those two and thank them, for the wonderful time I had at their reviews expense.

Thanks for the silly article.
I wish I would have known about the "Macho seats", I didn't order those...
Are they having a hard time pushing the tailgate up & down, or are they taking it off & putting it back on? (I don't think they're capable of the latter.)
If they think that a Crew is a huge truck, they must not get out of Pansyland much. I'd love to see both of them drive a 1-ton dually Crew cab with an 8 foot bed, better yet, towing a boat...

Ignorance can be truly amusing!
Maybe "he" I'll refer to he-she as Idiot 1, should try stepping on the running boards instead of over them!
The fact that Idiot 2 "she" doesn't understand why you can't lock things in the bed of a TRUCK pretty much sums up her credibility! Last time I checked an Excursion wouldn't fit my motorcycle in the back!
"Didn't turn well in 4x4 mode" oh my, go back to driving your Subaru and shut up!

That was pretty damn funny!!! I think they missed the marketing boat completely. Heavy tailgate, you wuss. Quality seats? The quality of the seats are horrid. They can not even get the bad things right. What is this refference to the Excursion? Try the turning radius on that bad boy, 4x4 or not.
They are worse than those Dolan idiots who try to give financial advice on the radio.
Thanks for the post, you did liven it up around here.

Credibility is everything...seems Paul and Anita have done other reviews.
*SuperCrew Review…Those running boards got the backs of my dress pants filthy when I tried to climb into the cab and drive to a business meeting. I practically ruined the bottom of a long skirt.*
Lincoln Navigator Review…
*Hey, these were pre-production Navigators that we drove. My one gripe with the Navigator is the standard running boards. They don't feel wide enough.*
"Anita, Wouldn't wider running boards be more apt to get your skirt dirty?"
Nissan Extera Review…
*Our test model had all the bells and whistles, including the trick roof rack and nifty tubular running boards*
"Paul, why didn't Ford think of that. Add bells, whistles, and maybe an advisory warning telling people to lift their leg or their pants might get dirty."
Nissan Pathfinder Review…
*I really appreciated the standard running boards on the LE version, which help you maintain your dignity getting in and out.*
"Anita, how is it the Nissan's running boards maintain your dignity, but the Ford's ruin your dress?"
Grand Cherokee Review…
*I found it difficult to climb in and out of. When they were throwing gobs of new stuff on the Limited, they should have added standard running boards, like we enjoyed recently on the '96 Nissan Pathfinder.*
"ANITA, you want the running boards or not! Just tell me what you want and I'll do it just to shut you up!"
Infinity QX4 Review…
*And the running boards weren't wide enough and needed some other nonskid material on them, especially in rainy weather*
"Your killing me. You want them, you don't, now you want them wider!"
*SuperCrew…But the truck ultimately falls flat in several respects, not the least of which is lousy ride comfort and abysmal handling*
References to the F150:
What we liked: superior ride quality
"But, you said it had a lousy ride?!?"
Ford's F-series pickup is the best in the business. And just about nearly everything that's right about it has been carried over in the Navigator.
"Even those running boards, which are nifty...providing their not to narrow...and...alow you to maintain your dignity...providing they don't get your dress dirty"

If these two think the Screw is hard to park, they should have tested my last pick-up, a 1990 F-150 supercab w/ 8ft bed and a full cap. It was like driving my telephone line truck at 155 inch wheelbase. And don't even get me started on the weight of the tailgate...! Just more reasons you should read or listen to Ray and Tom on Car Talk instead of Biff and Muffy!
