Hey,

Can anyone suggest a "functional" bug deflector for a Super Crew F-150? I mean one that really deflects those critters and small rocks from one's windshield. Looking for something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg which still looks real nice.

I went with Lund, doesn't lay back on the hood so no need for the rubber bumpers stuck to your hood. Seems to work!

GTS makes the Omniguard for the F150 that is more or less velcro'd on. I have a friend that has one on his F150 and he loves it. I helped him install it, which was simple, and the velcro tabs that fasten it to the truck are actually very srong. They beat bolting a bugshield on because with velcro you can easily remove it to clean or wax the area underneathe it. The styling of it is also very pleasing. I currently have a Clearbra that was included with my Screw when I bought it. I haven't had my truck very long, but it appears that the Clearbra is effective. I am still going to purchase the GTS Omniguard though. Bugguards create an updraft that aids a little in keeping insects off your windshield. Also, they make the truck look even better! Good Luck
