Post Suspension lift

Who makes a suspesion lift to fit the 4x4 supercrew? I keep getting conflicting stories. Also, what is the difference between Trailmaster, Rancho, and Superlift suspension lifts. I would like to know why the difference in price.

Cool

I have installed a trailmaster suspension lift on my supercrew. The Trailmaster lift is 4" in front and about a 2 1/2" add-a-leaf in the rear. I have 315/75r 16" (35x12.5") tires with very minor fender timming (plastic only). The Rancho lift claims 4" in front, but I have heard that the lift yeilds only about 2 1/2 - 3". The Superlift claims 4-5" inches out front, but good luck getting one delivered. Superlift was not able to deliver my lift for about 3 weeks, so I went with the Trailmaster. I would go with the Superlift if I could get my hands on one. The Trailmaster lift uses an extension on the upper A-arm, where the Superlift uses an extended spindle.

Anyway, just my opinion, anyone else have any things to add?

4x4 lift- In the same boat. Ive seen the 4x4 with the rancho and a company called "RCD"

Check out pgseriestrucks.com. they are located in el cajon ca.(so. cal)- does you know good probably but when i went in there, that was the first time I had heard of "RCD". The PG Series shop has produced some pretty awesome looking trucks. One of the owners/workers has a 4x4 screw using this 4" suspension lift. Looks great. They said it was better quality as well.
contact em and maybe they can help you out. Maybe they can contact me for plugging their excellent work. I have yet to fund a lift for my screw.
good luck

Andrewc,

My S-Crew has a 4" Trailmaster, running 33" Swampers and Weld Typhoons. No mods were needed to the body or fenders (didn't want the 35" that bad). I will get a picture sized and post it so you can check it out. I don't think Trailmaster has the "high end" rep of Superlift, but the custom shop out here in NorCal swears by them for S-Crews, and has done about 8 of them this year.

As long as you get the steering stabilizer ($75), you should be pretty happy.

Good Luck

I have the Rancho kit installed in my SuperCrew and I believe it has the best quality of all the kits. The kit uses a complete replacement subframe and spindles to increase the lift. I will be installing Yokohama Geolander Mud tires 315/75/16 on Prime Chrome type PW159 16 x 10's this week. This is the only kit I would use after researching all the brands. Good Luck!!!

Hey Super Beast...Sounds like you have a nice truck there. Does it happen to be white, cause I saw a Supercrew yesterday that was lifted. We are pretty close to one another. If you want, we could get together to check out each others rigs.

Superbeast,
Our Crews could be twins! I'd really like to see a pic of yours, no one has posted a silver one. I'm going to put some similar add-ons on mine (when it gets here).
Did you use the SS Stull grill?

Thanks
