Checking VPOC today and great news for me; my S-Crew is being built this week with a scheduled delivery the week of Sept 4th. Then I turn on the TV news and hear Ford has suspended production at three truck plants due to the Firestone Tire situation. The plants were not named. Does anyone know if the KC plant is shutting down because of this problem??

the shut downs are targeting low profit units that will use the tire sizing needed to fulfill the recall group and will primarily effect Ranger production..

twin cities and edison (ranger)-though only
the 4x4 ranger uses tires involved in recall

 

Thanks for all the repiles telling me it's not true. My trucks been built and sent to the railhead for shipment. Shoud see it soon.
