5.4 Radiator Hose
Noticed on my 5.4L that the upper radiator hose is supported by a metal brace / cradle. Looking closer at it, I also noticed that the brace required a slight upward adjustment to actually do what it is intended to do. After that, I didn't like the obvious wear point on the hose. I cut a piece of black 1/4" rubber gasket material and slid it under the radiator hose to prevent any chafing or wear. Makes me feel a little better anyway. Ya'll might want to peek at yours too. Also, check out my post to the master cylinder weeping. Heard it was a common issue. Man I stay-up too late on this site..............
