Exclamation Man's Sanctuary ???

I've lost my sanctuary!! I've been married to a wonderful gal for 28 years. One thing I could always count on, was that she really wouldn't like to drive "my" vehicle. The last couple have been trucks. The most recent a '93 full sized Bronco - - she REALLY hated that brute. But now, I've got problems. I let her pick out the color of "my" SuperCrew - - mostly to smooth over some resentment about what "we" were spending on "my" new toy!!!
Well, the other day she was talking about "our" truck. I left on a five day business trip, and the next thing I know, she's down at Home Depot in "our" truck, picking up mulch. Last week, our son needed a hand moving from Gainesville to Jacksonville, FL. I offered to re-arrange my schedule to give him a hand. You guessed it, SHE drove MY truck down to FL to move our youngest. I'm in deep, serious trouble. I love my Super Crew, but at what price ?

Your Supercrew, huh? Seems like she's enjoying it more. Next time make her change the oil and filter; since she's the one putting on the mileage. hehe.

I love my wife but I gotta find a solution. Now I just tell her it won't start! It don't look good for the home team : (

Ford Outfitter,
Only one thing to do, trade in the van and get a second Screw. My wife says that the truck will probably be to big for her to drive (I just hope that she does not change her mind). Must be nice to have these problems, I just have ONE, I don't have our (my) truck yet. Build week (28 AUG)

Dutchy,

You have the early warning signs already - beware. My wife also thought it would be too big for her to drive. She actually feared the thought of having to driving it and was very content to just ride in it. I felt bad that she too could not enjoy driving it so I kept encouraging her to try it. Back then it was referred to as "my truck".

She finally did try it one day (3 days into ownership) and of course loved it - no more fear. Since then it is referred to as "your truck", usually in the context of "I'm taking your truck to do some errands".

Good luck to all in keeping tabs on "their truck"!
