Post Mud/Stone guards

I would like to put a set of the molded stone/mud guards on the rear fenders of my Supercrew, does anybody have a recommendation on a set that they really like?

I have a supercrew on order. The other day I was in the dealership and saw a F150 Harley Davison Edition. It had a set of rear factor mudgards that looked real clean. Check them out....

joegoodrich,ALWYSL8--do you have any pictures of the mud flaps that you can post?

I have a SCrew with the rear factory mudflaps. I was suppossed to be getting a set of slush mats and a spare tire lock that were on order and to be put on later. When I dropped it off and called later they said that everything was done and that the mudflaps looked great. I don't know how mudflaps got confused with slush mats, but I have both now. All in all the flaps don't look to bad. The fit nicely and are securely mounted.

I bought a set of Ford mudflaps, they are going back tomorrow. They will work with the 16" tires, with my 17" they're not big enough....

Question

gunsnrods--

In what way are they not big enough? Not wide enough? Not long enough? I'm just interested in keeping the lower panel of the bed behind the wheel from catching stones, tar, salt, etc.

I just got the factory splash guards from ford $46.00. The mounting hardware sucks but they look ok once installed.

Husky liners makes a mud flap for the f150 That is fantastic. It is black molded plastic. I sticks out the side a bit to catch all the grime. I run 285 R16's and they really work! No mud here. Fronts are a snap, rears take a little modiification. The supercrew rears are suppose to be out in mid August.

Give them a try!

Question

I'm also interested in installing mud guards rear AND front. I happen to have the factory cab steps on my Supercrew, which extend all the way forward to the rear edge of the front fender well. It looks like any sort of molded mudguard would interfere with the cab step. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Planned Mods: Retrax Retractable Bed Cover, Line-X Sprayed-On Bedliner, Lund Trident Bug Deflector, K&N F.I.P.K.

I saw two different molded ones for Ford 4x2 and 4x4 at Pep Boys yesterday. They looked pretty nice.

The back ones installed easily, but they were for an F150. A little different than the picture posted by joegoodrich. His actually look cleaner. The front ones go back Monday. Unless they have one with a molded cutout for the running board, they don't work. Not for me anyway. It would be good if they had a style to fit the running board as the wheels throw quite a bit of mud up onto the runningboard.

Husky Liners has a front splash guard listed at their websight specifically for a Supercrew with factory cab steps. Part number
is 56411.
